We are a water transfer printing company based in the South West of England. We offer a full hydrographic service to our customers in Dorset, Hampshire and the surrounding area: hydrographic dipping and  hydrographic film sales.  We manufacture premium stainless steel hydrographic tanks which we have built and sold to customers all over the U.K and Europe. We also run full hydrographic and painting training courses for beginners and experts alike.

What is it?

What is Hydrographics?

Hydrographics is the process of transferring a printed design onto almost any part you can imagine.  The film pattern is laid onto a body of water, sprayed with an activating chemical which turns the ink to liquid then the part is pushed through the pattern and the film “wraps” itself around the part.  Any number of unique effects can be created by changing the colour of the paint under the film and applying a gloss, matt or candy top coat.

Applications

What can it be applied to?

Almost anything!  If it is safe to immerse the object in water and it can be painted then it can be dipped.  Common parts we dip include: interior and exterior car parts, motorcycle tanks and fairings, paintball markers, game consoles, sports equipment, furniture.
